Artist Statement: Valerie Veneziano is an emerging, multidisciplinary, ultra contemporary artist from California.  She creates fantasy, nature, figurative, and expressionism art with acrylic, oil, and watercolor paint. She works with shellcraft, miniature landscape, and clay for ornaments and glass, stone, metal, and resin for jewelry. She loves to express the intricacies and magic of creation within the microscopic, astronomical, botanical, and animal kingdoms. 

Artist Bio: At the age of five Valerie won a bicycle from a restaurant coloring contest. At age eight, she made and sold a series of color pencil greeting cards and pop-art collage bookmarks at fairs. In High School she won a sketching contest and her team also won second place in a State computer animation competition. She studied graphic art and computer animation in college but fell in love with studio arts and jewelry making instead and worked at an art gallery shortly after in Venice Beach with Trek Kelly. She designed and built her own website to showcase her art, and displays it in galleries and art fairs around Southern California.
